Does stepping into your trailer seem to get higher each time? This fold up step is the answer! It welds to the frame rail of your trailer to give you that extra step in and out. This step is great for an 8′ wide trailer that does not have running boards. Folded up, this step only sticks out 2 1/2″ and when it is folded down, provides a full 8″ of step with a full assembly length of 37″. It comes complete with a ready to weld on with a gas shock to hold step in place when going down the road as well as the hinges and pins shown in the picture. All aluminum construction. In most cases, this needs to be welded to your aluminum trailer but have seen hinges actually bolted to the bottom rail of trailers to attach.
